Reference: E(NG)I/96/TR/36 Vol.III(2) dt. 11-10-2002 Transfer of staff from Western Railway to North Western Railway Headquarter office. The question of validity of options exercised by staff initially with reference to this Ministry’s letter of 6.12.96 for working in the headquarters office of N.W.Railway has been considered by the Ministry of Railways. It is clarified that the options exercised earlier are also valid and N.W.Railway should merge both old and fresh options and consider acceptance in totality as per procedure in force vide instructions contained in this Ministry’s letters dated 6.12.96 and 9.7.2002.
