Ref: This office letter of even: number dated 17.9.2010 (RBE No, 137/2010).

Attention is invited to instructions contained in para 5.1 & 5.2. of letter under reference.

The matter has been re-considered by the Board and it has been decided that the said provisions stand deleted with the issue of this instruction.

Henceforth, a person who continues to work as a Substitute and has acquired temporary status, when considered for regularization of his/her services, be screened by a Screening Committee. The Committee for the purpose shall consist of three Railway Officers of appropriate rank one each belonging to SC/ST community, OBC community and Minority community. Also, one member shall belong to Personnel Department, the department for which recruitment is being made and one from the department other than Personne! Department.
