Sub: ' 15506 of Passes to other apprentices ~ amendment to Railway Servants (Pass) Rules, i986 (Second Edition, 1993).

In terms of item ‘10° (Other Apprentices) of Schedule Vii (Special Passes) of Railway Servants (Pass) Rules, 1986 (Second Edition, 1993) apprentices and trainees against Group 'C' except the Apprentices Act posts may be given the class of pass(for self only) on the basis of minimum of pay of the Post or grade to which they are to be appointed on completion of their apprenticeship, in accordance with the pay Limits prescribed from time to time. This provision provides for issue of Passes only and not PTOs.

2: On receipt of a reerence from a Zonal Railway referring to Board's earlier letter on the subject which Provided for issue of both passes and PTOs to such apprentices and trainees, the issue has been considered by Board and it has been decided to amend the Railway Servants (Pass) Rules, 1986 (Second Edition, 1993) by
