In reference to the recommendations of the.VI" Central Pay Commission on the above subject, the President is pleased to decide that hereafter Medical

- Category ......_ | Railway Doctors upto the level of non- functional selection grade having Post Graduate qualification recognised under Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

General Duty Doctors upto the level of non-functional selection grade having P.G Diploma qualification recognised under Indian Medical Council Act,

Rs. 300/-p.m.

Annual Allowance

Railway doctors having Post Graduate qualification recognised under Indian |.

Medical Council Act, 1956.

p.m.

| General Duty Doctors who do not | Rs. 300/-p.m.

possess any P.G qualification or who.

possess unrecognised P.G.

3. The rates of these allowances will be increased by 25% whenever the Dearness Allowance payable on the revised pay structure goes up by 50%. .

4. The revised rates wil! be effective from September 01, 2008

5. The terms & conditions as contained in para 1426 of IREC Vol.li (Sixth Edition -1987), Second Reprint Edition -2005, will remain unchanged

6. This issues with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways
