'G.S.R. - In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution, the President hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Railway Servants (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1968, namely:-

i. (13 These rules may be called the Railway Servants (Discipline and Appeal) (Second Amendment} Rules, 2005.

{2} They shall come inte force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.

2. in the Railway Servants (Discipline and Appeal) Rules, 1968, in Schedule ITI, after Note 2, the following shall be inserted, namely :- .

“Mote 3: Disciplinary powers of Principal Heads of Departments under this Schedule shall also be exercised by Senlor Executive Directors and Executive Directors who are In independent charge, in Research, Designs and Standards Organisation; Coordinating Heads of Departments im Senior Administrathve Grade or by the Heads of Departments in Senior Administrative Grade who are In independent charge, in Metro Railway, Kolkata, Central Organisation Railway Electrification, Allahabad, Central Organisation for Modernisation of Workshops, New Delhi; and Chairman of respective Railway Recruitrnent Boards, in respect of officers in Junior Scale and Group 'B’ who are under their administrative
