In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution, the President is pleased to direct that the Indian Railway Establishment Manual Vol. |, Revised Edition-1989 (First Re-print Edition-2009), may be amended as in the Advance Correction Slip No. 271 enclosed.

Chapter fl, Section ‘A’---Rules governing promotion of Group ‘C’ staff to Group ‘B’ posts.

1. Para 203.1

For the existing para 203.1, substitute the following:

Group ‘C’ employees working in Level 6 and above in Pay Matrix with 3 years of non-fortuitous service in Level 6 and above in Pay Matrix (including non-fortuitous

service rendered in the corresponding pre-revised grade pay) are eligible for Group ‘B’ Selections(70% quota) in the departments having organised services.

For Selections for promotion to Group ‘B’ posts in Accounts department, Group ‘C’ employees fulfilling the abovementioned condition should also have qualified the Appendix-3 IREM Examination.

राष्ट्रपति, भारत के संविधान के अनुच्छेद 309 के परंतुक द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्तियों का प्रयोग करते हुए यह निदेश देते हैं कि भारतीय रेल स्थापना नियमावली जिल्द- ।, संशोधित संस्करण-1989 (प्रथम पुनर्मुद्रित संस्करण-2009), में संलग्न अग्रिम शुद्धि पर्ची सं 271 के अनुसार संशोधन किया जाए.

अध्याय ॥, खंड 'क' --- समूह TW कर्मचारियों की समूह “|W पदों पर पदोन्नति को शासित करने वाले नियम.

1. पैरा 203.1

मौजूदा पैरा 203.1 को निम्नलिखित से प्रतिस्थापित किया जाए :

समूह 'ग' के वे कर्मचारी, जिन्होंने पे मैट्रिक्स के लेवल 6 या उससे उपर के लेवल में 3 वर्ष की अनाकस्मिक सेवा की हो (तदनुरूपी पूर्व संशोधित ग्रेड पे में की गई अनाकस्मिक सेवा सहित)तथा पे मैट्रिक्स के लेवल 6 या उससे उपर के लेवल में कार्यरत हैं, संगठित सेवाओं वाले विभागों में समूह 'ख' में चयन (70% कोटा) हेतु पात्र हैं।

लेखा विभाग में समूह 'ख' में पदोन्नति के लिए चयन हेतु, उपरोक्त शर्तों को पूरा करने वाले समूह 'ग' कर्मचारियों को परिशिष्ट-3 भारतीय रेल स्थापना नियमावली जिल्द-। परीक्षा भी उत्तीर्ण करनी होगी |
