Sub: Rates of recovery of rent for Railway accommodation allotted to Railway employees owning houses at the station of posting.
In partial modification of this Ministry’s letter No:E(G)77 QR1-53 dated 11.07.84 on the above cited subject, Board have decided to revise the slabs of rental income and the rental liability in respect of the Railway employees owning houses at or near the station of their posting, as given below:-
RATE OF RENT TO BE CHARGED.
Normal licence fee.
S.NO.|SLAB OF RENT FROM OWNED HOUSE. .
If income from house does not exceed Rs.12,000/-p.m.
If income from house exceeds. Rs.12,000/- p.m. but does not exceed Rs.20,000/-p.m.
If income exceeds Rs.20,000/-p.m.

Twice the normal licence fee.
Thrice the normal licence fee.
2. These orders will come into effect from 01.07.2008.
3. All other existing terms and conditions will remain the same.
4. This issues with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.
5. Please acknowledge receipt.
