Sub: Liberalized Automatic Freight Rebate Scheme for traffic loaded in Traditional Empty Flow Directions (TEFD).

Ref: Rates Circular No. 29 of 2016 and Corrigenda thereto.

1. In terms of Corrigendum No. 03 dated 22.03.2018, to Rates Circular under reference, the validity of policy guidelines for Liberalized Automatic Freight Rebate Scheme for traffic loaded in Traditional Empty Flow Directions (TEFD) was extended up to

30.06.2018.

2. The matter has been reviewed. It has now been decided to extend the validity of the Scheme beyond 30.06.2018 for a further period of three months i.e. up to 30.09.2018.

3. All other terms and conditions stipulated in above referred Rates Circular shall remain unchanged. ं

4. This issues in consultation with Traffic Transportation Directorate and with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.
