Ref. : Board’s Rates Circular No. 27 of 2016 dated 20.10.2016; Addendum thereto dated 26.04.2017;Corrigenda thereto dated 23.10.2017; dated

22.10.2018; and dated 03.10.2019

1. Please refer to Board’s Rates Circular and its Addendum/Corrigenda under reference, wherein Freight Incentive Scheme for Loading of Bagged consignment in open and flat wagons was introduced w.e.f. 24.10.2016 and extended. The last extension upto 23.10.2019 was in terms of Corrigendum No. 2 to Rates Circular No. 27 of 2016 dated 22.10.2018.

2. The matter has been reviewed and it has been decided to extend the validity of these instructions upto 31.03.2022.

3. All other terms and conditions of the Rates Circular under reference shall continue to apply unchanged.

4. This issues in consultation with Traffic Transportation Directorate and with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways..
