Sub: Freight Incentive Scheme for Loading Bagged Consignment in Open and Flat Wagons.

Ref: Rates Circular No. 27 of 2016 dated 20.10.2016 and its addendum dated 26.04.2017 & Corrigendum dated 23.10.2017

1.0 Please refer to Board’s Rates Circular and its addendum under reference, wherein Freight Incentive Scheme for Loading of Bagged consignment in open and flat wagons was introduced w.e f. 24.10.2016.

2.0 In terms of Corrigendum dated 23.10.2017, these Instructions are valid upto

23.10.2018.

3.0 The matter has been reviewed and it has been decided to extend the validity of these instructions for a further period of one year i.e. up to 23.10.2019.

4.0 All other terms and conditions of the Rates Circular under reference will continue to apply unchanged.

5.0 This issues with the approval of Traffic Transportation Directorate and with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.
