Sub: Freight Incentive Scheme for Loading of Bagged Consignment in Open and Flat Wagons.

Ref: Rates Circular No. 27 of 2016 dated 20.10.2016 and its addendum dated 26.04.2017.

Please refer to Board’s Rates Circular under reference wherein Freight Incentive Scheme for Loading of Bagged consignment in open and flat wagons was introduced w.e.f. 24.10.2016 and remain in force for a period of one year i.e. up to 23.10.2017.

The mater has been reviewed and it has been decided to extend the validity of the above instructions for further period of one year i.e. up to 23.10.2018.

All other terms and conditions of the Rates Circular under reference will continue to apply unchanged.

This issues with the approval of Traffic Transportation Directorate and with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.
