1. Sanction of the Central Government is hereby accorded to grant rebate in freight for Caustic Soda/ Caustic Soda Lye/ Caustic Soda Liquor; Alumina; Furnace Oil and Bulk Cement when loaded and transported in privately owned wagons as under

-$- The rebate in freight in case of Furnace Oil, Ammonia (Anhydrous Liquefied Gas) and Phosphoric Acid will be applicable for the stream(s) notified by the Operating Department of the Zonal Railways in consultation with Traffic Transportation Directorate in the Ministry of Railways

£- The rebate in freight in case of Ammonia (Anhydrous Liquefied Gas) and Phosphoric Acid in privately owned tank wagons will be allowed at the time of booking in respect of those parties who have paid the annual maintenance charges in advance at the commencement of the year. The transfer of tank wagon from owner of such wagons to parties hiring such wagons for transportation of the commodities should have the prior approval of Traffic Transportation Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.

. It may be ensured that before the rebate in freight indicated above is notified, necessary agreement for the transport of traffic
