Ref: Board’s Rates Circular No. 36 of 2009, Corrigenda and Addendum thereto.

KREKEKKEK

1. In supersession of Rates Circular No. 36 of 2009 (amended from time to time), sanction of the Central Government is hereby accorded to the following:

(i) The dual freight policy applicable for transportation of Iron Ore and Iron Ore Pellets is discontinued.

(ii) All types of Iron Ore and Iron Ore Pellets, whether meant for domestic consumption for manufacture of Iron and Steel as well as Cement or meant for other than domestic consumption, will now be charged at Class-165 (Trainload).

2. These instructions will come into force with effect from 10.05.2016 and will remain in operation till 31.03.2017.

3. This issues in consultation with Traffic Transportation Directorate and with the

concurrence of Finance Directorate of Ministry of Railways. nal « Wert
