Sub: Adjustments in Base Freight rates effective from 01.04.2015.

Ref:- Board letter No. TCR/1078/2015/07 dated 16.03.2015 and

20.03.2015 (Rates Circular No. 8 of 2015 and corrigendum thereto).

Please refer Board’s letter cited above notifying adjustment in Base Freight rates with effect from 01.04.2015.

2.0 Matter has been reviewed. Sanction of the Central Government is hereby accorded to delete the following entry in Goods Tariff No.48 Part-| (Vol.Il), in Group No.6, CHEMICAL MANURES:

= MANURE NOC *

* The Chemical Manures included in the Fertiliser Control Order जि issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (Department of Agriculture and Co-operation), would ONLY be treated as Chemical ManuresNOC. ...........

3.0 These instructions will come into force 15.07.2015.

4.0 All other details of Rates Circular under reference will remain unchanged.

5.0 This issue with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways. C
