SUB: RAMPANT HARASSMENT BY TRANASGENDERS 
 
 
It has been observed that of late, a particularly concerning and important 
aspect regarding security and safety of Rail Passengers has been noticed. 
 
Many TTEs are reporting of rampant and disturbing situation of transgenes  , 
mostly in groups, boarding almost all trains including prestigious trains like 
Vande Bharat and harassing passengers , demanding money forcibly and many 
times if money is not given, they turn to beating and roughening up the 
passengers. TTEs and RPF too are not spared at times and because they are in 
groups, the passengers find it difficult to refuse paying. Extorsion is common 
and so is physical abuse like snatching of purse etc. Attached is the copies of 
message sent to MAS CCR for assistance. Most of this problem is observed 
between KPN SBC Dn and KPD MAS Dn.
