LIST OF PROHIBITED ITEMS IN PARCEL/LUGGAGE Details of consignments which are prohibited to carry in parcel/luggage are as below: 1 List of hazardous things a) Offensive articles b) Explosive, dangerous, inflammable articles c) Empty gas cylinders d) Dead poultry e) Game f) Acids g) Corrosive substances. 2 Dogs are not allowed to be carried in AC Sleeper Coaches, ACC chair car coaches sleeper class and second class coaches. If a dog is found being carried in contravention of this rule, it will be removed immediately to the brake-van and charges will be levied six times the Luggage Scale Rate subject to a minimum of Rs.50/- 3 General merchandise, and heavy articles in considerable quantity intended for commercial business shall not be accepted as luggage and should be booked as parcels.
