Sub; Grant of one set of privilege Heket order peor year to Licensed Porters
Instructions were issued vide Board's Ieticr of even number dated
07.07.1997 to grant one set of complimentary cheque pags in T/Sleeper class for scl€ only to Licensed Porters who are duly registered and authorised by the Railway administration to work as Porters at Railway Stations.
fy addition lo the above facility, Minisiry of Railways have now decided to provide facility of ong set of Privilege Ticket Order ia Us Sleeper class every year lo Liceonsed Porters, for solf and spouse, for travel from the stasion of working, to any slation in {nadia and back. . ‘This Privilege Ticket Order will cnable Licensed Porters lo travel with spouse by paying only one third fare. Break journey will be allowed as per rules applicable to Second/Sleeper Class ticket holders. The PTO shall be valid for a period of two months fiom the date of issue.
It should be mace clear to the Licensed Porters at the time of issue of such P.T.O, that misuse of the facility will render them liable for cancellation of the

Vor obtaining the PLT.O., the concerned Lisensed Porters will apply to the Station Master vader whose administitive control they ace verkiag, “Phe Station Master will matntain Jill detaila of PUO granted लि individual Liccayed Porters, including name, badge number, Identity Card Number, date of issue of PTO, station from and to, signature of the concerned potter ete, and cusure (hat Hus facility is not pranted more than once ina year. Alter issue of PTO, a monthly return indicating the above details will be furnished to the concerned JORM's office by the Station Masters,
While travelling on the outhority of Ihe Privilege Ticket Order, tha holder shall, at all limes, carry his ideatily card and produce iton demand. ‘The PTO shall hear an cndorseinent to the effect that the PTO shall bo valid subject to the production of the identity card,
Necessary = may be issued to all concerned, including PRSs, immediately, Strict vigil may be kept to prevent misuse of this facility, through checks by ‘Ticket Checking sta Jnspecting officials of Personnel Accounts and Commercial Departments should also check the relevant records af the station and serttinise monthly returns jn DRM's office
