Sub: Medical Pass - Provision for two attendants.
The CLW Staff Council, in their meeting held in dune, 2003, has demanded that two attendants should be provided to a physically handicapped or unconscious OF paralyzed OF mentally retarded patient on the same lines as provided under Schedule Vit itern 2801) of Railway Servants,’Pass Rules 1 986(2" dition 1993) te patients in big plaster, where one attendant cannot lift the patient.
2. The matter has been carefully considered by Board, and it has been decided by Board that wnen no family member is accompanying थे physically handicapped OF unconscious OF paralyzed or mentally retarded patient, two attendants in the same class May be provided on the express recommendations of the medical officers.
3. in view of the above position, Railway Servants (Pass) Rules, 1986 (2 Edition 1993) may be amended as per Advance Correction Slip No.
43 - enclosed. .
4. In all other respecis provision of Railway Servants (Pass) Rules, 4986 (2 Edition 1993) shall apply.
5. This issues with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of Ministry of Railways.
