If IP not pinged it means connectivity issue and need to contact S&T staff. • Connect UTS printer at COM1 and fare repeater at COM2 port. IP: 10.138. ----. ---- Terminal No: Terminal Name: Procedure for changing Thin client IP (Example for MSH station) MSH01C login: root Password: root123 (or ask to UTS console) [root@MSH01C]-# setup Password: setup123 Then select “Network Setting” using down arrow button. Enter “Client Name”: MSH02C (or any other which is required.) Enter “IP address”: As per Thin client ( eg-10.138.1.98) Then select ‘OK’ using tab button. Then select “Gateway Setting” using down arrow button. i) Delete old Gatway IP selecting “Delete” option using tab button. ii) Add new Gatway IP using “Add” option and insert Gateway IP. ( Eg-10.138.1.1, Note- To Get Gateway IP, put 1 in place of last number of thin client IP address) iii) Then “Save” Gateway IP using tab button. iv) Then select “Quit” option using tab button . v) write reboot and press enter or switch off /on the thin client.
