Clarification has been sought regarding specifications for the Gold plated silver medals to be presented to retiring railway servants, whether on superannuation or voluntarily.

In continuation of the instructions issued vide Board's letter under reference, following specifications may be followed in the matter by the Zonal Railways/PUs.

(Iv) Two aluminium pillars of height 1.5 inch and diameter .75 inch on both sides of medal (Pr~ een Kumar) Dy. Direl~tor Estt. (W) Railway Board.
