Sub: Postine of officers on return from foreign assicnment. me IMinistry of Railways have decided thal, officers returnina from foreion assignment abroad after a tenure of one year or more will normally be posted to the following Railways/Organisations इन N.F. Railway, N.F. Railway(Const.), Eastern Railway S.E. Railway, Metro Railway/Calcutta, CLW, ROCF, Kapurthala DCW/Patiala and Railway Eiectrificatiogn(ER & SER) 2% Such officers would continue on the Railway,’Unit to which they are mnosted and would not normally be considered for transfer out before completion of a minimum tenure of 5S years. The officers will not, hawever, be entitled to any posting of their choice on completion of 5 years and further nostings, if any, will te made keeping in view administrative requirement, 241 The period of tenure will stand extended by the period(s) the concerned officer remains on leave/training, etc. in excess * of 4 weeks in each instance whether in India or .abroad 34 The tenure of 5 years, as above will be applicable prospectively and not for those who have already returned from deputation and posted. 4, The above instructions may be brought to the notice of otficers and may be lept in view while dealina with/forwardinag representations from the officers to the Board.
