Sub: Posting of Group ‘A’ officers for career development in Eastern region.

Ref: Ministry of Railways’ letter No. E(O)lIil-91/PL/24 dated 16/09/99 (copy enclosed).

Instructions have been issued vide Board's above quoted letter regarding posting of Group ‘A’ officers in ‘Eastern region’ comprising of Eastern Railway, N.F. Railway, S.E. Railway (including Construction Organisations), CLW and portion of RE organization on S.E. Railway and Eastern Railway territory, for a minimum period of three years with a view to effect their career development.

Consequent upon the creation of New Railway Zones, the ‘Eastern region’ for the purpose of posting of Group ‘A’ officers for career development has been redefined by the Board which would now comprise of the following Railway/ Organisations:-

Eastern Railway

East Central Railway

East Coast Railway

Northeast Frontier Railway

Northeast Frontier Railway (Construction) South Eastern Railway

South East Central Railway
