Item 2 - Miscellaneous receipts comprise of receipts from Railway Recruitment Boards, penalties recovered from contractors, receipts from Railway Museums from sale of souveniers etc. Item 6 - Capital support from Government in BE 2025-26, RE 2025-26 and BE 2026-27 includes Nirbhaya Fund of Rs. 200 crore each. Item 109 - Covid Loan of Rs. 63,000 crores (Interest-free) and another of Rs. 16,398 crore (bearing interest) was provided to Ministry of Railway in FY 2020-21 with Three year moratorium. The Government has extended moratorium period for another 2 years up to FY 2025-26. Appropriation to Pension fund in BE 2025-26, RE 2025-26 and BE 2026-27 includes Rs. 1,358.69 crore towards payment of interest on the loan of Rs 16,398 crore. In BE 2026-27, Pension Fund also includes Rs, 7,598.07 crore as payment of principal and interest component of these loans. Item 11 - Miscellaneous expenditure comprise expenditure on Railway Board, other miscellaneous organization like RDSO, RRBs/RCTs, Centralized Training Institutes and appropriation to Pension Fund in respect to miscellaneous organization.
