Ref: -Your office letter no. 15BRD/510/1/Accts dated:-12/12/2022.

With reference to your letter quoted above, it is advised that this office is able to give the PNR enquiry/ verification for only those trains which are based on Mumbai CST PRS (Passenger reservation system). PNR number commencing for the trains linked to Mumbai CST PRS is 8 eg 863-0435193. The pattern of PNR number pertaining to PRSs is as under:- PNR No.

Further, it is also advised that the request for verification of PNR numbers 8455263635, 8656994311, 8754272221, 8550239658, 8228387611 and 8851673897 may be forwarded to this office or directly to the PCCM Central Railway. The verification charges of PNR is Rs 50/- (Rs fifty only) for each PNR and mode of payment is in form of non refundable money receipt (In original) which can be obtained by depositing the required amount at any Booking office of the Indian Railways. It may also be noted that whether the passenger has undertaken the journey on the given PNR or not can be verified from the working chart which is being deposited at train destination station.
