Ref: HQ’s letter no.C 548/2/5/19 Vol IX UTS Correspondence dated 14/08/2024.

Apropos to above, please find enclosed herewith copy of HQ’s letter under reference in connection with various enhancements in existing UTS application. It is instructed to get it acknowledged by all booking staff working under you.

Discrepancies, if any, are to be brought to the notice of UTS console for rectification of the same.

Apropos to the above mentioned subject, CRIS has added few more features in UTS application, the details are as under:

1. Integration with PRS for YTSK advance deposit.

Now the PRS YTSK-ID will be validated from the master of PRS-YTSK detail and the MR booking information will be shared to PRS for auto-credit in PRS-YTSK account. Currently, this feature will be released in UTS disabled mode.

2. Capturing the bifurcation of GST components into IGST or CGTS and SGST/UGST during the cash remittance of TTE/TC Cash through MR on UTS counters.

3. During QR payment request initiation on UTS counters, the message “whether passenger has scanned QR code and confirmed the payment Y/N" has been modified as “Press Y to confirm payment from Bank (after QR payment by Passenger)” for better understanding before going to confirm the ticket.

4. Hot-keys F5 to and F11 are defined to change the pay mode to Q and Train type to AC-EMU in UTS Thin client application menu option no.1, 9, 12, 13 & 14.

5. Restricting the MR booking on the old trip-id on which MR was already issued, fed by the operator by mistake. In the case of thin clients, it will work after the synchronization of MR entries.

The above changes has been released on line UTS application with effect from 14.08.2024.

Necessary instruction may please be issued to all concerned.
