Ref: HQ’s letter no. C 548/2/5/19 Vol X (e-file: 543034) dated 14.11.2025.

Apropos to above please find enclosed herewith a copy of HQ’s letter under reference in connection with issuance of Blank Paper Ticket frequently by UTS booking staff.

In view of the above all concerned are instructed to regularly check the BPT reports on daily/periodical/monthly available in UTS Reports and arrange to provide the details of required new routes in prescribed format to this office so that the required route can be feeded in UTS system and preparation of BPTs can be avoided.

***** In reference to the above subject, It has been noticed that UTS booking staffs are issuing Blank Paper Tickets (BPT) frequently for the routes which are not available in system. The division wise summary of total BPTs issued for the month of October 2025 is as under:

Division Total No. of BPTs issued BCT 7396 ADI 2350 BRC 4637 RTM 5615 RJT 265 BVP 5615 The new routes which are not available in the UTS system should be added through UTS/RBS Integration utility which is already provided to all divisions. The list of details of BPTs issued is enclosed for your information CBS’s should regularly check the BPT reports on daily/periodical/monthly available in UTS Reports and arrange to feed the required new routes in the system to avoid further preparation of BPT’s.

Divisions are requested to take corrective strict action to restrict issuance of BPTs by feeding all the required routes through UTS/RBS Integration utility to ensure correctness of distance, via and ticket fare.

Necessary instructions may be issued to all concerned.
