Ref :- HQ letter no. C 548/2/5/19 Vol. IX UTS Correspondence dated-31/10/2022.

Apropos to above subject, kindly find enclosed herewith copy of HQ’s letter under reference vide which HQ has advised that Trip ID based MR booking will now be mandatory from 01/01/2023 instead of 01/11/2022.

Ref: Letter no. CAO/PTS/137/TTE LOBBY/WI/2021 dt 28.10.2022 With reference to the above quoted CAO/PTS’s letter, it has been decided that Trip-Id based cash deposit of Ticket Checking staff which was going to be mandatory from 01.11.2022 has been extended & will be implemented from

01.01.2023.

Further, it has been observed that few stations have been enabled for Trip Id based booking including Web service utility but Ticket checking staff are not depositing their earnings in UTS system. Divisions may please ensure feeding of EFT details in TTE lobby application at such stations so that proper accountal of the same can be made through UTS system.

Necessary instruction may please be issued to all concerned.

2. CRIS letter No. 2019/CRIS/NDLS-HQ/PMS/PROJECT/CTTLICTTL/0217/PT-1 Dated 25.10.2022.

3. Requests received from Zonal Railways.

Vide letter referred (1) above, it was conveyed that Trip-1D based cash deposit of Ticket Checking staff will be mandatory from 01.11.2022. However, considering the requests received from CRIS & Zonal Railways, it has now been decided that the same will be implemented from 01.01.2023; till such time both options i.e. direct deposit of TTE/TC cash at UTS counter & through Trip-ID will be available in UTS at all the stations.

In the meanwhile CRIS will ensure set-up of new infrastructure for TTE lobby application and Zonal Railways may take appropriate action to put in place requisite infrastructure in TTE lobbies.

Further, it has been observed that Ticket checking staff are not depositing their earnings in UTS through Trip-ID summary completely, even at those stations where adequate infrastructure including Web service utility is available for feeding of EFT details in TTE lobby application. Zonal Railways may please take appropriate action to ensure feeding of EFT details in TTE lobby application at such stations.
