Ref: HQ’s letter no. C 157/7/Mobile phone ticketing (e file 8450) dated 31.12.2025.

Apropos to the above, please find enclosed herewith a copy of HQ’s letter under reference in connection with to take measures to promote and proliferate the use of the RailOne App at stations. In order to proliferate digital booking, a provision for providing a discount of 3% on booking of unreserved tickets through all digital payment modes on RailOne app has been made. The 3% discount shall be in force during the period 14.01.2026 to 14.07.2026.

Further, existing UTS-on-Mobile publicity material to be replaced with RailOne App posters at stations and other prominent passenger interfaces. Additionally, a focused one-month awareness campaign to be conducted to promote the RailOne app through public announcements, display systems and active facilitation by frontline staff.

DCMIs/CMIs to ensure compliance and furnish the consolidated report of action taken to this office by 10th of the next month.

********* The RailOne App provides a unified platform for various railway services, including ticketing, reservations, enquiries, real-time updates, and customer support.

Effective promotion of this application among passengers and staff will help increase awareness.

In order to proliferate digital booking, Board vide letter no. 2025/TG- I/01/Bonus dated 30.12.2025 (copy enclosed) have made provision for providing a discount of 3% on booking of unreserved tickets through all digital payment modes on RailOne app. The 3% discount, shall be in force during the period 14.01.2026 to

14.07.2026.

All Divisions are advised to take proactive measures to promote and proliferate the use of the RailOne App at stations, on the lines of the initiatives earlier undertaken for the UTS-on-Mobile App. Passenger assistance helpdesks to be established at stations to guide users in transitioning to the RailOne App and to highlight its key features and benefits like 3% discount on Unreserved tickets, single app for Railway related services, etc.

Further, existing UTS-on-Mobile publicity material to be replaced with RailOne App posters at stations and other prominent passenger interfaces. Additionally, a focused one-month awareness campaign to be conducted to promote the RailOne App through public announcements, display systems, and active facilitation by frontline staff.
