Sub: Increasing the maximum allowed distance from source station for suburban & non suburban mobile app tickets..

Ref: HQ’s letter no C 157/7/Mobile phone ticketing (e file 8450) dated 14/11/2022.

Apropos to above subject please find enclosed herewith copy of HQ’s letter under reference vide which it has been advised that ticket booking through Mobile app distance restriction has been enhanced for suburban station from existing 2km to 5km & for non suburban station from existing 5km to 20km w.e.f. 13/11/2022. However this is applicable for journey tickets only.

This is for information of all concerned.

E-Mail from CRIS 11.11.2022 With reference to the above, as per attached Railway board approval and instruction ticket booking through Mobile app distance restriction has been enhanced for Suburban station from existing 2km to 5km & for Non- suburban from existing 5km to 20km.This is applicable for Journey tickets only .

The above changes has been released on line UTS on Mobile APP application with effect from Nov 13 2022 .

Necessary instruction may please be issued to all concerned.
