Apropos to above subject, please find enclosed herewith a copy of HQ’s letter under reference. All CRSs and UTS cum PRS in charges/staff are hereby instructed to comply with the instructions issued by HQ and to ensure that certificate issued against quota/concessional booking should invariably be checked during ROPD check.

Ref: - Dy. CVO(T) WR’s letter No. E/161/2021/01/00399/P/V1 Dtd. 17.05.2021.

------------ Dy. CVO(T) WR, vide letter under reference, has advised that during preventive check conducted at Mahim PRS, it was detected that PRS staff was mis- utilizing pregnant women quota. Tickets were issued by him regularly utilizing pregnant women concession, evading collection of mandatory pregnancy certificates issued by medical practitioner at the time of booking. Currently neither there is any procedure at station level to cross check the submission of certificate nor are such forms checked during ROPD.

It is requested to issue necessary instructions to all concerned that PRS locations will check certificate issued against quota/ concessional booking during ROPD check.

The action taken in the matter may be advised to this office.
