Ref : This office letter of even no dated 28/08/2020.

Apropos to above, please connect this office letter under reference vide which instructions to be followed for reporting details of Tatkal PRS counter tickets issued for trains from other/distant originating stations was circulated.

All PRS counter operators, PRS/UCP in-charges, CMI-CTO and sectional CMIs are once again instructed to scrupulously follow the instructions contained in the referenced letter (copy enclosed).

Also all ticket checking staffs are instructed to compulsory demand and check counter PRS tickets issued under Tatkal and Senior Citizen quota and if passengers are not in possession of the original PRS counter ticket, then they are to be charged as per extant rule.

All are advised to act accordingly and follow the instructions contained in the letter in true spirit.
