Ref: Your office letter no. C548/6/3/Repla 377/ATVMs/18-19 dated-04/12/2020.

Apropos to above, it is stated that total 25 ATVMs have been allotted to ADI division vide letter under reference. Out of these 25 ATVMs, 13 ATVMs are commissioned over ADI Division till date as per Annexure ‘A’ and 12 more ATVMs are yet to be received from HQ. At present, out of 02 ATVMs earmarked for KLL & PTN, 01 ATVM each at KLL & PTN station have been installed and 01 ATVMs each at KLL & PTN is still pending due to non receipt.

Further, the Gauge conversion between ASV-UDZ section and CRS inspection has already been done and section has been opened for passenger traffic. Currently 02 pair of DEMU train services are running between ASV-HMT-DNPR(Dungarpur of NWR) section and 03 M/E services are also proposed to originate from ASV in near future.

The sale of ticket through ATVMs at KLL and PTN station are on lower side due to poor acceptance by travelling public. Already two notifications have been issued for appointment of facilitators at these stations but no applications have been received so far. DRM-ADI during his recent inspection of ASV-HMT section has taken note of limited facility in terms of no of ticketing counters (02 each) at ASV & HMT stations due to space constraint and has advised to explore the possibility of installation of 01 ATVM each at these stations to expand the scope of dispensing of UTS tickets in a time bound manner.

In view of above, it is requested to do needful for transferring/shifting of 01 undelivered ATVM each from KLL (KLLT71 -Forbes) & PTN (PTNT71-Forbes) to ASV & HMT stations respectively.

It is also requested to kindly make provision for defining of IP address and host name for ATVMs at ASV & HMT stations.

------- With reference to above subject, it is stated that out of 25 ATVMs allotted to ADI Division, 13 ATVMS are commissioned till date and 12 ATVMs are yet to be received. Out of 02 ATVMs marked for KLL & PTN each, 01 ATVM have been installed at each of these locations and 01 ATVM is yet to be received.

The sale of tickets through ATVMs at KLL & PTN station is on the lower side due to the poor response of the travelling public. DRM-ADI has taken note of the limited ticket booking facilities due to space constraints at ASV&HMT stations.

Thus, it has been advised to explore the possibility of installation of 01 ATVM each at ASV and HMT to expand the ticket booking facilities available.

In view of the above it has been decided to shift 1 undelivered ATVM each from KLL & PTN station to ASV & HMT stations respectively to rationalize the ticketing process at these stations.

Therefore, it is requested to instruct the vendor concerned M/s. Forbes Technosys Limited to deliver the same at Ahmedabad Division accordingly i.e.
