Sub : Guidelines regarding provision, installation and functioning of weighbridges.

Ref. Para 3.5 of Rates Master Circular/Provision of weighbridge/2014/0 and its Corrigendum No.3.

In terms of the Circulars under reference, the validity of exemption from installation of electronic in-motion weighbridge in specific cases over SER. SECR & ECR is valid up to 30.04.2015.

The matter has been reviewed and it has been decided to extend the validity of above mentioned exemption for a further period of six months i.e. 31.10.2015 or issue of any other instructions, whichever is earlier.

Accordingly, Para 3.5 of Rates Master Circular under reference may be modified.

This issues with the approval of Traffic Transportation Dte. and with the concurrence of Finance Dte. of the Ministry of Railways.
