Sub: Infringement charges for movement of Over Dimensional Consignment (ODC) over DFCR network.

Ref:

1. This office letter of even No. dated 07.05.2024.

2. DFCCIL letter No.HQ-OPOWC(WCOS)/3/2020 dated 13.03.2023.

3. Rates Circular No. 5 of 2024 dated 21 02.2024.

4. Board’s letter No. 201 1/CEDO/SD/17/0 dated 21.01.2013.

In supersession to the letter cited in ref.1, it is advised that the rates of Infringement Charges for movement of ODC notified over IR in terms of Rates Circular as under reference 3 above, shall also be applicable for movement of ODC over DFCR network.

However, the determination of the type of ODC (Class A, B or C) over DFCR network shall be governed by Standard Schedule of Dimensions, as notified in terms of Civil Engineering’s letter referred at 4 above.

This issues in consultation with Infra, Traffic Transportation and with the concurrence of

Finance Directorate in the Ministry of Railways. जि

2. Rates Circular No. 5 of 2024 dated 21.02.2024

Reference above, the matter has been examined regarding applicability of rates for ODC over DFCR network

It is advised that the rates of Infringement Charges for movement of ODC notified | over IR as under reference(2) shall also be applicable for movement of ODC over DFCR network.

Determination of the type of ODC (Class A, B or C) over DFCR network shall be governed by Standard Schedule of Dimensions as notified for the same for DFCR.

This issues in consultation with Infra Directorate, Traffic Transportation Directorate and with the concurrencé of Finance Directorate in the Ministry of Railways.
