Sub: Permissible Carrying Capacity (PCC) for Coal & Fly Ash loading over 25T Axle Load Route.

Ref.: Rates Master Circular PCC/CC+8 etc/2020/0 and its corrigenda thereto.

1. In terms of Corrigendum No. 97 to RMC on PCC/CC+8 etc./2020/0, Permissible Carrying Capacity of various wagons have been notified up to one decimal place.

2. Loading of Coal & Fly Ash in BOXNHL25T wagon over 25T Axle Load Routes has been reviewed and the Competent Authority has decided to include loading of Coal & Fly Ash in BOXNHL25T over 25T Axle load routes.

3. Accordingly, S.No.1 of Annexure-I (A-Open Wagons) on Page 3 of the Corrigendum No.

97 to RMC on PCC/CC+8 etc./2020/0 shall be revised as under:

Wagon Type} Loading | Designed Tare | Permissible Carrying Capacity over 25 Tolerance in weight in Tonne Axle Load Routes (in tonnes per tonnes tonnes wagon)

1. | BOXNHL25T 1 20.6 78.4 (for Iron ore all types, Limestone, Bauxite, Slag, Clinker, Gypsum and Fly Ash)

4. The above shall be effective from 20.07.2026 and shall remain in operation till 19.10.2026

75 (For Coal) on trial basis.

5. All other terms and conditions of Rates Master Circular referred above and Corrigenda thereto shall remain the same.

6. This issues in consultation with Traffic Transportation and with the concurrence of

Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.
