Sub: Permissible Carrying Capacity (PCC) of BLSS Car A and Car 8 on 25T Axle load route of IR and WDFC. ं

Ref.: Rates Master Circular on PCC/CC+8 etc./2020/0 dated 02.01.2025, Corrigendum No. 06 and15 to Corrigendum No.97 thereto. .

1.0. In terms of Corrigendum No.15 to Corrigendum’ No. 97 to RMC on PCC/CC+8 etc./2020/0, Permissible Carrying Capacity (PCC) of BLSS Car A and BLSS Car B wagon in Annexure IC of Corrigendum No.97 has been notified up to one decimal place for 25T Axle Load Route.

2.0. The matter has been reviewed and the Competent Authority has decided to permit the Permissible Carrying Capacity (PCC) of BLSS Car A and BLSS Car B for 25T Axle load operation on the section from New Prithala Junction to Hind Terminals Palwal (HTPP) via Palwal on IR route and over WDFC.

2.1. Accordingly, SN.8 & 9 of the table of Para 1 of Corrigendum no.15 to Corrigendum no.97 to RMC on PCC/CC+8 etc./2020/0 shall be revised as under: .

2.2. Further, for the charging of notified commodities at Container Class Rate on the basis of chargeable weight for 20' container (TEU) and 40' container (FEU) for BLSS wagons, SN.7 & 8 of the table of Para 3 of Corrigendum no.15 to Corrigendum no.97 to RMC on PCC/CC+8 etc./2020/0 shall be revised as under:

3.0. The above shall be effective from 21.03.2026 and shall remain in operation till further advice. .

4.0. All other terms and conditions of Rates Master Circular ‘referred above and Corrigenda thereto shall remain the same.

5.0. This issues in consultation with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of the
