Sub: Permissible Carrying Capacity (PCC) of BOXNS wagons for Bauxite over 25TAxle Load Route.

Ref: Rates Master Circular on PCC/CC+8 etc./2020/0 and its Corrigendum No.97 dated

20.12.2023.

1. In terms of Corrigendum No. 97 to RMC on PCC/CC+8 etc./2020/0, Permissible Carrying Capacity of various wagons have been notified up to one decimal place.

2. Further, in terms of above referred Corrigendum No. 97, PCC of BOXNS wagon over 25T Axle Load Route has been reviewed and the Competent Authority has decided to include the loading of Bauxite in BOXNS wagons over 25T Axle Load Route on trial basis for a period of one year with immediate effect.

3. Accordingly, S.No.3 of Annexure-| (A-Open Wagons) on Page 3 of the Corrigendum No. 97 to RMC on PCC/CC+8 etc./2020/0 shall be revised as under:

3. | BOXNS 1 19.85 79.1 (for Iron Ore all types, Slag, Clinker, Dolomite, Gypsum, Limestone, Red Mud, Coal and Bauxite

4. All other terms and conditions of Rates Master Circular referred above and Corrigenda thereto shall remain the same.

' 6. This issues in consultation with Traffic Transportation Directorate, Mechanical (Freight) Directorate and with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.
