Sub: Permissible Carrying Capacity (PCC), Standard Rake Size and Loading Tolerance of BOXNS Wagons.

Ref: (i) Board’s Rates Master Circular/PCC/2015/0 dated 19.10.2015 and Corrigenda thereto.

(ii) Board’s Rates Master Circular dated 14.07.2016 on Block Rakes/Mini Rake/Two Point Combination etc. and Corrigenda thereto.

A proposal for fixation of Permissible Carrying Capacity (PCC) and standard rake size & minimum number of wagons required to be loaded for availing trainload benefit for BOXNS wagons was under consideration of Board.

The issue has been examined. It has been decided that for the purpose of charging, BOXNS wagons may be treated as under:

- Permissible Carrying Capacity (PCC) (refer Annexure | to Rates Master Circular/ PCC/ 2015/0 dated 19.10.2015 ) shall be as under:

BOXNS The standard rake size and minimum number of wagons required to be loaded for availing trainload benefit (refer Annexure | to Rates Master Circular dated 14.07.2016 on Block Rakes/Mini Rake/Two Point Combination etc.) shall be as under:
