Sub: Running of freight trains on CC+8 routes.

Ref: Rates Circular 28 of 2008 and addendum thereto, Rates Circular No.41 of 2009 and Rates Circular No.21 of 2010

1.0 In continuation of Board’s letter of even number dated 30.06.2010 (Rates Circular No.21 of 2010), sanction of the Central Government is hereby accorded to include following routes in the list of already identified CC+8 routes:

Guntakal-Kalluru (SCR)

Andal-Sainthia-Malda-Farrakka (ER)

Sainthia-Kahalgaon (ER) Palanpur-Bhildi-Samakhiyali-Gandhidham (WR)

Maliya Miyana-Dhrungadhra-Jhund-Viramgam-Sabarmati (WR) Maliya Miyana-Dahisara-Wankaner-Surendranagar-V iramgam (WR) Pimpalkutti-Adilabad-Mudkhed (SCR)

Agra-Bayana (NCR, WCR)

. Jhansi-Bhimsen (NCR)

0. Alwar-Mathura (NCR, NWR)

1. Bandikui-Agra (NCR, NWR)

2. Barkakana-Muri (SER, ECR)

3. Bishrampur-Ambikapur (SECR)

2.0 Sanction of the Central Government is also accorded for regularization of running of freight trains on CC+8 routes, which were earlier, permitted as pilot project.

3.0 All other details of the Rates Circulars under reference will continue to apply unchanged.

4.0 These instructions will come into effect from 20.07.2010 and will remain valid

till further advice. -

5.0 This issues with the approval of Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.

Traffic Transportation Directorates and with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of Ministry of Railways.
