Amendment Sub: Permitting running of freight trains on CC+6 routes - Universalisation

Ref: Board’s letter No.TCR/1394/2004/2 dated 20.07.2007 (Rates Circular No.

76/2007) and Amendment thereto.

In terms of Corrigendum No.3 to Rates Circular No.28 of 2008, “Lucknow-Utratia-Rae Bareilly- Pratapgarh™ route was included in the list of CC+8 routes whereas *“Faizabad-Prayag-Allahabad™ route was included in the list of excepted CC +6 routes notified vide Rates Circular No.76 of 2007 and amendment thereto. Therefore, the section “Chilbila (CIL)-Pratapgarh (PBI) figures in CC+8 routes and excepted CC ‘6 routes both.

The matter has been examined and it has been decided that “Faizabad-Prayag-Allahabad™ route may be deleted from the list of ‘excepted CC+6 routes’ and “Faizabad-Chilbila (CIL)” and Pratapgarh Jn (PBH)-Prayag-Allahabad™ routes may be added in the list.

Accordingly, the Annexure attached to the Rates Circular No.76 of 2007 has been modified and is enclosed herewith as Annexure.

All other details of Rates Circular No.76/2007 will remain unchanged.

These instructions will come into force w.e.f. 27.12.2010.
