Sub: Liberalized Automatic Freight Rebate Scheme for traffic loaded in Traditional Empty Flow Directions (TEFD)

Ref: Rates Circular No.29 of 2016

1. In terms of corrigendum No.1 to Rates Circular No.29 of 2016, policy guidelines contained in Para 1.7(iv), 1.7(v) and 1.7(vi) of Rates Circular No.29 of 2016 have been kept in abeyance with immediate effect, till further advice.

2. In view of above, Zonal Railways are requested to raise and recover under charges in those cases where benefit of Automatic Freight Rebate has been availed by customer with reference to Para 1.7(iv), 1.7(v) and 1.7(vi) of Rates Circular No.29 of 2016

during 01.01.2017 to 05.01.2017.
