Sub: Automatic Freight Rebate Scheme for traffic loaded in TEFD

Ref: Rates Master Circular/FIS/2015/0 and Corrigendum thereto.

1.0 In terms of Corrigendum No. 06 to Rates Master Circular/FIS/2015/0 dated

28.10.2016; Automatic Freight Rebate Scheme for Traffic Loaded in Traditional Empty Flow Directions is operative up to 30.11.2016.

2.0 The matter has been reviewed. It has now been decided to extend the validity of the Scheme beyond 30.11.2016 for a period of one month i.e. 31.12.2016 or till the introduction of New TEFD Policy, whichever is earlier.

3.0 All other terms and conditions stipulated in Rates Master Circular/F1S/2015/0 as amended from time to time, will continue to apply unchanged.

4.0 This issues in consultation with Traffic Transportation Directorate and with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.
