Sub: Automatic Freight Rebate Scheme for traffic loaded in TEFD Ref: Rates Master Circular/FIS/2015/0 and Corrigendum thereto.

1.0 In terms of Rates Master Circular referred above; the detailed guidelines for Automatic Freight Rebate Scheme for Traffic Loaded in Traditional Empty Flow Directions were issued with effect from 25.06.2015. This Scheme was valid till 31.03.2016.

2.0 The matter has been reviewed. It has now been decided to restore the Scheme with immediate effect and the same shall remain operative up to

30.06.2016.

3.0 All other terms and conditions stipulated in Rates Master Circular/FIS/2015/0 as amended from time to time, will continue to apply unchanged.

40 This issues in consultation with Traffic Transportation Directorate and with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.
