Forfeiture of Wagon Registration Fee. Ref: (i) Chapter-II of Goods Tariff No.41 Pt.1, Vol.I and amendments thereto; and (ii) Rates Circular No. 47 of 2004. Please refer to CRIS/FOIS letter No.CAO/FOIS/104/RD/WRF/Pt-ll dated 28.07.2023 enclosing CR's letter No .. C.331.G:WRF.Policy ·dated 17.07.2023 about a technical issue in the system (TMS/FOIS) regarding forfeiture of partial Wagon Registration Fee in case of ~ trainload indent, where 34 wagons were loaded out of 50 wagons in the rake, but freight has been paid for all 50 wagons as per trainload rates. CRIS/FOIS has sought Board's guidance in this regard. The matter has been examined. The relevant guidelines as prescribed vide Goods Tariff & Board's Circular under reference stipulates - "2.0 (i) Whenever a rake is supplied against a trainload indent, the freight for entire rake on trainload class rate will be realized irrespective of the actual number of wagons loaded. 11 "2.
