Sub: Standard Rake composition of BTFLN.

Ref: Rates Master Circular dated 14.07.2016 on Block Rakes/Mini Rake/Two Point Combination etc./2016/0 and its Corrigendum No. 1 to 7.

In terms of S.No.25 of Annexure-l of the above referred Rates Master Circular dated 14.07.2016, the composition of BTFLN wagons is mentioned as 48 wagons for Standard Rake Size and Minimum Number as 46 wagons to be loaded.

The matter has been reviewed and sanction of the competent authority is hereby accorded to revise the composition of BTFLN wagon as 50 wagons for Standard Rake Size and 49 wagon for minimum wagons to be loaded.

These instructions shall come into effect from 27.10.2017 and shall remain in force till further advice.

This issues in consultation with Civil, Mechanical and Traffic Transportation Directorates and with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways.
