Sub: Policy Guidelines- Transportation Products - Block Rakes; Mini Rake (covered wagons), Two Point Rake (covered wagons), Multi Point Rake(covered wagons), Two and Multi Point Rake (other than covered wagons), Rakes from Two Originating Terminals (covered wagons) and Rakes from Two Originating Terminals (other than covered wagons).

Please refer to Para 2.0 (9) under the head Definitions of above refei. | Rates Master Circular.

The matter has been reviewed and it has been decided to modify the definition of Terminal used in the policy guidelines for above cited subject as under:

2.0 (9). Terminal: It refers to a private siding, assisted siding, railway siding, goods shed and Private Freight Terminals (PFTs) where cargo is loaded or unloaded but does not include an Inland Container Depot or Port.

All other terms and conditions as notified from time to time by Freight Marketing Directorate of Ministry of Railways for operations of PFTs shall apply while granting trainload benefit for Two/Multi Point Rakes with respect to PFTs.

These instructions shall come into effect from 22.07.2016.

This issues in consultation with Traffic Transportation Directorate and with the concurrence of the Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways. हे
