Ref: Conigendum No.15 of Rates Master Circular/Weiglwrcntl2}lgl} Reference has been received from NFR regarding dispensation from mandatory (100%) weighment in case ofBamboo Chips loaded in covered wagons.
The matter has been examined. It has been decided to permit dispensation from mandatory (100%) weighment in case of Bamboo Chips loaded in covered wagon rakes (BCN etc.) subject to random checks on 5%o of rakes. No commodity other than this commodity should be loaded in the wagons/rake.
This issues in consultation with Traffic Transportation Dte and with the concurrence of Finance Dte of Ministry of Railways.
