The matter has been examined. It has been decided to permit relaxation in charging of Mixed Trains (Coaching + Goods), by modifring Para 3.3 of Rates Circular No.32 of 2014, as below- The aforesaid movement is permitted on trial basis for one year, subject to operational feasibility.
All other extant guidelines will remain unchanged.
These guidelines will be implemented from 16.07.2026 and will remain valid upto t5.07.2027.
This is issued in consultation with Traffic Transportation Dte. and with the Finance Dte of Ministry of Railways.

3.3 Total charge for mixed train should be worked out for acfual number of coaches/wagons used subject to minimum charge for 30 boge wagons (including a minimum of one coach) This reloration will remain valid till furtlrer advice.
Total charge for mixed train should be worked out for acfual number of coacheVwagons used subject to minimum charge for 20 bogie wagons (including a minimum of one coach) This relaxation wiII remain valid for a temporary period of one year. Thereafter, the chargng witl be restored to the originat condition i.e. minimum charge for 30 bogie wagons (including aminimum of one coach).
