Electronic Payment System for Freight is operational since 2006. Railway Board have issued guidelines on the subject. No format of agreement has been issued by Board. All Zonal Railways have devised their own standard agreement keeping in view the local needs and requirements of their customers & bank.
As regards authorized signatory on behalf of freight customer, it is to state that any person authorized by the freight customer may be allowed to sign E-Payment agreement.
