Sub:- Delegation of powers tothe Zonal Railways to decide reduction in luggage allowance of Card Ticket holders to the level of Season Ticket holders
Ref: (i) WR’s letter No. C 297/6 vol. V dated 25.01.2018
(ii) CR’s letter No. C/754/X/Misc/2017 dated 30.01.2018
in reference to the above, it has been decided to delegate powers to Principal Chief Commercial Managers of the Zonal Railways to decide ‘reduction in luggage ‘allowance of Card Ticket holders to the level of Season Ticket holders, i.e. 15 kgs — and 10 kgs for first class and second class respectively, over Suburban sections during peak periods based on local conditions’.
2. Other terms and conditions shall remain the same.
3. This issues with the concurrence of Finance Directorate of the Ministry of Railways
